Exhibition « Full Contact Barcelona-Llobregat City » with Miquel Lacasta

Next Thursday, July 20th, the inauguration of  « Full Contact Barcelona-Llobregat City » organised by ESARQ – School of Architecture UIC Barcelona will be held. It starts at 7pm at the Rei Martí water deposit, which reappropriation was made by Archikubik.

This exhibition presents the 20 projects carried out by students in their final year within workshops led by six architects including  Miquel Lacasta, Archikubik.

This year, the projects focus on the Lower Llobregat Valley, a more than 10km-long stretch of river that, together with the Delta, makes up the Llobregat Metropolitan Corridor, an area of exceptional ecological, economic and social value for the Barcelona Metropolitan Area and for Catalonia as a whole.

During the inauguration, a “dialectic battle” will involve experts including Salvador Rueda, Carlos Quintans, Josep Bohigas, Rosa Rull et David Bravo. Finally, the most innovative and sustainable project will be rewarded that night.

The exhibition will last until July 30th, and during a month in September.
